    Eliminating respiratory disease. Forever.

Diag-Nose.io is mapping the unified airway to deliver AI-powered precision diagnostics and discover life-changing therapies.

The foundation of life is in every breath we take.

Diag-Nose.io was founded in 2020 by a team of ENT specialists, bioengineers, and entrepreneurs at Stanford’s EENT Innovation Program. We began with a simple question: why do patients with similar respiratory symptoms respond so differently to treatment?

That led to our unique insight: “Even when symptoms overlap, each patient’s airway biology is as unique as their fingerprint.”

By tapping into nasal fluid and decoding its biological signals (“omics”), we saw a path to predict drug response, reduce side effects, and improve treatment adherence.

With enough data, we realized we could go even further: discover new lifesaving medicines and solve long-standing gaps in respiratory care to make sure every patient receives treatment that works.

The Science

Why use biology-driven methods?

Biological-driven methods allow us to enhance limited clinical assessments with precision and efficiency. By using protein biomarkers and machine learning, we can redefine what is possible in respiratory care by:

  • Predicting therapeutic response and side effects ahead of time
  • Monitoring treatment efficacy within shorter timeframes
  • Differentiating between overlapping conditions
  • Discovering new targets for drug development

Connecting the dots with the unified airway

The unified airway model connects the nose and lungs through shared immune and inflammatory pathways. Nasal biology mirrors lung health, offering a non-invasive window into respiratory conditions.

Diag-Nose.io leverages this connection together with advanced AI, to develop precision diagnostics and therapies for asthma, COPD, and sinusitis.

The ABEL microsampler

The ABEL microsampler is a versatile nasal sampling device with an absorptive probe, designed for precise, non-invasive, and omics-grade collection. It enables effortless collection by anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Application

Nasal liquid biopsy for research applications such as respiratory disease, neurodegenerative disorders, oncology, infectious disease and occupational health.

Target Audience

Researchers, clinicians, biobanks and biotech companies.
